Quite a short Dresden Dolls set, unfortunately, for their second coming in Lyon, about two years after their gig at the Transbordeur (seeded here by myself). Indeed, Brian Viglione, The Dresden Dolls’ drummer, was sick tonight. Actually he really was struggling at playing the drums, and he seemed to be pissed off at the stage sound engineer for some reason. He even smashed his crash symbal to the ground out of anger apparently. Strange enough to be noticed.
Anyway, this explains the set duration and the fact that many songs were played with Amanda Palmer on her own on vocals and piano.
